Family Fun Workshops are free to the public, however, pre-registration is appreciated. Age ranges of children are 2 to 12 years of age. A parent or guardian must accompany children.
Workshop hours are 10:00 am till 12:00 pm. We ask that families arrive by at least 11:30 to have enough time to do the activity. Typically, the Carnegie Center supplies all materials, but occasionally families are asked to bring an item.
It’s time to deck the halls, because it’s getting cold outside. Let’s make some decorations out of free materials. These magazine trees and coiled paper snowmen are both striking projects that come from simple steps. When you persevere with the simple steps, keeping your mind busy with conversation, songs, and jokes, you end up with a beautiful decoration for your home. Of the two, the snowman is the smaller and quicker project to make.
