Instead of a more structured art activity, participants will be encouraged to let their creativity be their guide. Anything goes.
For years, the art studio at the Carnegie has been the landing pad for materials from previous workshops and activities. The community has generously donated art and craft supplies. In other words, there is a lot of cool stuff, and that cool stuff is up for grabs in this free-form art experience. The possibilities are endless – embellish an already prized possession, create a new piece of jewelry, or form a sculpture. For more inspiration, a few artists will circulate to offer their support and artistic eye.
The Family Fun Workshop is free to the public and all supplies will be provided. Registration is requested and easily done. If you wish to attend, please email Delesha Thomas at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the Carnegie Center at (812) 944-7336. Please arrive by 11:30 AM to have sufficient time to finish this project. Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver at all times while in the building.
