Art History Illustrated
“Ephemera: Art That’s Not Meant to Last”

Thursday, February 17, 2022
6:30-7:30 p.m.

From Navajo Sandpainting and Tibetan Mandalas, to Shinto and Futurist Architecture, to Environmental and Performance art, we’ll learn about images and structures that are
designed with their own destruction in mind. Stretch your understanding of the purpose of artistic creation! Registration is required.

Our Art History Illustrated talk series is held the third Thursday of every month at 6:30 p.m., and is presented by Associate Professor Brenda Edgar of the Fine Art Department at Jefferson Community and Technical College, in partnership with the Carnegie Center for Art & History.
