Join us for our “Art History Illustrated” talk series, held the third* Thursday of every month at 6:30 p.m. This monthly illustrated talk series is presented by Associate Professor Brenda Edgar of the Fine Art Department at Jefferson Community and Technical College, in partnership with the Carnegie Center for Art and History.
Women did not earn their way into the history of art by being meek and submissive! Come learn about the harrowing life experiences that informed the work of this fiery Baroque painter, and the sensational trial that anticipated the “Me Too” movement by 400 years. Registration is required.
