“Our Lady of the Bread Pudding: Vermeer’s Milkmaid and its Catholic Ancestors”
Although it is usually understood as a starkly secular scene, this famous painting is actually the descendent of a tradition of religious iconography that goes back to the Flemish Primitives. Presented by Assoc. Prof. Brenda Edgar, Fine Art Department, Jefferson Community and Technical College. Registration required.
