Thursday, September 8, 2022
5:30pm – 7:30pm
Explore the linocut printmaking technique through Elizabeth Catlett’s beautiful and heartfelt work then, try your hand at printmaking yourself! Linocut printing is a form of relief printmaking where you roll ink onto the surface and the print comes from what linoleum is left on the block instead of what was cut out of it. It is one of the easiest and most cost effective ways to get into printmaking all without a press! In this class you’ll learn how to prep, cut, and print your very own linoleum block!
