As the summer comes to an end, let’s make whimsical hanging mobiles! You can hang your mobile above your bed, in a sunroom, or anywhere you think a little bit of movement is necessary. Making a mobile is a fun way to experiment with balance and equilibrium. Among the materials we will use include bamboo skewers, string, twist ties, card stock, markers and crayons.

Join in the fun of making arts and crafts with your children at our Free Family Fun Workshops.  This drop-in program meets the second Saturday of each month from 10:00am to 12:00pm.

Family Fun Workshops are free to the public, however, pre-registration is appreciated. Age ranges of children are 2 to 12 years of age. A parent or guardian must accompany children.

We ask that families arrive by at least 11:30 to have enough time to do the activity. Typically, the Carnegie Center supplies all materials, but occasionally families are asked to bring an item.
