“Everlasting Potted Paper Plants” is the first workshop of the year, and is a specialty of workshop coordinator Alyson Thiel. In 2017, Alyson was awarded a grant through the Great Meadows Foundation to further study this art. You can join her and make a wonderfully fake potted plant that never needs watering! You can choose to create a plant you know or use your imagination to create something never seen before. The activity will take place in the Jane Barth Anderson Meeting Room.

Our Family Fun Workshop is free to the public and all supplies will be provided. Registration is requested and easily done. If you wish to attend, please email Delesha Thomas at dthomas@carnegiecenter.org or call the Carnegie Center at (812) 944-7336.  Please arrive by 11:30 AM to have sufficient time to finish this project.  Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver at all times while in our building.
