Art and History develop a child’s curiosity and creativity. Art and History connect children across time and cultures. Art and History enrich the lives of children in the galleries, the classroom, and the community. The Carnegie Center for Art and History’s new Youth Education Program served more than 8,000 children in its first year. Your Give for Good gift ensures future access to school tours, community outreach, and hands-on workshops for children in Southern Indiana and Louisville-all FREE of charge! Even during the difficult challenges of the global pandemic, the Carnegie continues to engage with children through zoom classes, thousands of free art kits, and school partnerships. The Carnegie is a unique institution that brings art and history to children to spark connections, think creatively, and explore the world around them.

Because we have suspended the popular annual gala for 2020, your Give for Good gift is even more critical. Thank you to these special sponsors who will match your gift, dollar for dollar up to $11,000!

The Community Foundation of Southern Indiana is providing $20,000 in proportionate matching funds for Southern Indiana nonprofits! Organizations based in Clark and Floyd counties will be eligible to receive a proportionate share of these matching funds based on their overall amount of dollars raised, excluding other bonus or prizes they may receive. As an example, if we raise 5% of the funds in Southern Indiana we’ll receive 5% of the corresponding proportionate match pool! Help us make this the biggest day of local giving for Southern Indiana!
