The Longest Day
Wednesday, June 21, 2023
10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
The Longest Day, the summer solstice on June 21, has more light than any other day of the year. On that day, thousands of people across the world come together to fight the darkness of Alzheimer’s. They use their creativity and passion to raise awareness for the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association. The Carnegie Center for Art and History is hosting this awareness event! Join us for Alzheimer’s and dementia awareness, recourses, and a Memories with Art and History tour followed by artmaking.
Memories with Art and History is a new monthly program hosted by the Carnegie Center in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association. This special monthly program is designed for those living with dementia and their caretakers to engage in a memory-inspiring tour of the galleries, followed by an artmaking activity.
The Carnegie has an elevator at our Bank Street entrance. Please let us know if you require any additional access needs.
